Meet The Doctors

Elsa George, DDS
Dr. George practices general dentistry and began her professional career in 2003 in Fairfield, CT.
Dr. George completed her undergraduate work at Pace University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in fine arts. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. George served her general practice residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY where she began volunteering in 1997, assisting the oral surgeons and general dentists on staff. She is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Women Dentists (AAWD), an organization that represents women dentists across the United States, internationally and in the Uniformed Services.
Dr. George has four beautiful boys and enjoys spending time with them playing and getting into all the trouble boys can get into. In her spare time, Dr. George loves to paint, sew, knit and do anything creative with her hands.

Michael M. Greenwald, DDS
Dr. Greenwald received his bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in 1983, his DDS degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1987, and his master's degree in Health Care from Hartford Graduate Center in 1994. He completed his General Practice Residency at the Jewish Hospital of St. Louis in 1988 and a Fellowship in Special Care, at N.Y. State OMRDD at Helen Hayes Hospital in 1989. Dr. Greenwald served as the Director of the General Practice Residency training program at The Waterbury Hospital Health Care Center in Waterbury, CT, from 1989 to 2006, while also maintaining a private practice in Waterbury, CT.

Anthony Carbonella, DMD
Dr. Carbonella is a board-certified orthodontist who specializes in treating patients of all ages using both Invisalign and braces, ranging from simple smile enhancement treatments all the way up to complex orthognathic surgery. He's a CT native who graduated with honors from UCONN Storrs with a degree in biology and then attended UCONN's School of Dental Medicine on a full military scholarship and graduated at the top of his class. Once on active duty, he sought further training, completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, and then practiced general dentistry for 4 years. Dr. Carbonella then attended the rigorous and prestigious Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program (TORP) in San Antonio. He then served as one of two American Orthodontists in the UK and finished his active-duty career as a full-time faculty member back at TORP. After fifteen years of military service, he is now proud to offer comprehensive orthodontic treatment at our practice with the highest degree of quality and customer service!
